A Victorian parchment hand written patent, awarded to Alfred Tylor and Joseph John Tylor, dated 1874 and wax seal, 53 x 76cm. It would appear that Joseph John Tylor, born 1851, was the son of Alfred Tylor, who began his technical career, before moving on to become a consultant engineer, involved in the construction of several waterworks in England. This warrant, from this period, relates to the regulation of liquids, filed at his address at 1 & 2 Newgate Street, London
