Beatrix Potter, The Tale of Jemima Puddle-Duck, published by Frederick Warne & Co. Ltd, signed Beatrix Potter May 6th '41 to the title page, also inscribed in pen by Mrs M Woodhouse, together with two others, unsigned, a Greetings card from All at Hill Top, Sawrey, to Margaret, a photograph of Hill Top and a postcard. According to the vendor, Margaret was her Grandmother who worked for the Hyde-Parker family at Melford Hall in Long Melford, where she met Beatrix Potter, who visited the estate and where she famously wrote some of her stories
