Sir William Reid Dick, KCVO, RA, 1879-1961, a large bronze of The Catapult, also known as The Slingshot, circa 1911, signed to base, 67cm high overall. Although he produced many notable works both at home and abroad, perhaps his most famous monument is the statue of King George V, carved from Portland stone which dates to circa 1947 and stands outside Westminster Abbey.
